Wisconsin Podcast Association Podcastathon
The Wisconsin Podcast Association, A100, and LIVEfor Wisconsin teamed up for its inaugural Wisconsin Podcast Association Podcastathon! This 24 hour event went live via Facebook and Y100 on June 6 and 7, 2020 in an effort to help provide food for families in need throughout the state of Wisconsin.
During the 24 hr event, podcasters from throughout the state of WI aired 30 minute live episodes of their podcasts. Donations collected throughout the Podcastathon went towards LIVEfor's mission of supporting local non-profits to benefit families in need, and used the money raised to provide 100 meals to families of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee. Thank you to everyone who contributed! We now have 100 meals to distribute on 11/18/2020 to the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee! LIVEfor is a WI based non-profit that prides itself in fostering trust and support in kids and families throughout WI to give them the freedom to go confidently in the direction of their dreams. |
